Mel Blasberg - Director of Instruction:
Lifetime golfer for over 40 years. Began professional teaching career in 1990. Mentored under Derek Hardy (Top 50 Teachers - Golf Digest). Owned and operated a golf practice and teaching center in Corona, CA. Father and coach to Erica Blasberg (LPGA tour since 2005), Futures Tour-2004 (62: 18 hole scoring record), 2002 NCAA Freshman of the Year, 2002 Pac-10 Player of the Year and AJGA - Polo All-American. Mel was the coach of the undefeated 2001-02 Corona High School golf team and has been the coach for many excellent Junior golfers with AJGA and college aspirations. He is also a golf analyst for the Jim Daniels Show on Fox Sports radio.
Jeong Park - PGA / PCS Certified Instructor
Jeong is a class A PGA instructor and clinician. He is also a member of the Irvine Valley College men's golf team. Jeong is a PCS certified club fitter and club maker, and a certified fitting specialist through the Mitchell Golf Equipment Institute. Dan Newstrand - Golf Professional
Dan is a registered apprentice with the PGA of America and comes to Eagle Glen from The Retreat GCC located in Corona, Ca. Dan's golf background started with high school golf then continued playing college golf for The Buffs at The University of Colorado at Boulder.
Dan's philosophy on teaching is a simple one- use the student's natural ability to help them improve and enjoy the game. Not all of us can play like tour professionals, but we can all play well enough to have fun and enjoy your time on the golf course. Rodger V. Shelton - Golf Professional
Rodger is a registered apprentice with the PGA of America and comes to Eagle Glen Golf Club from Los Serranos GC in Chino Hills California. Rodger's extensive background in Tournament Play at the High School and College level inspired him to tour the United States and play the Mini Tours for over 10 years. Rodger has been teaching professionally for over six years. This is an excellent opportunity to receive lessons from playing professional and get your lesson on DVD! Reggie Thompson - Golf Professional
Reggie is a level 3 professional with the USGTF and has over 6 years of teaching experience. Reggie loves teaching golf, it is his passion. He enjoys seeing golfers grow with confidence as their golf swing improves. Reggie's approach to teahing is to have fun while learning the fundamentals of the swing. Reggies also offers the use of video analysis which seems to help the student learn the swing faster and has a better understanding of their swing with this approach.
