Eagle Glen Golf Club offers a variety of lessons for juniors and adults, including private sessions, group instruction, clinics and summer junior golf camps. The club’s experienced team of friendly and talented PGA instructors prides itself on delivering high-quality instruction tailored to each student’s goals and objectives, using state-of-the-art instructional tools such as video swing analysis. Mark Moore, Class A PGA Instructor
A PGA Class A member for more than 15 years, Mark uses his extensive experience to help golfers of all ages and abilities. He is recognized as one of Southern California’s most admired golf instructors. Mark played college golf at UCLA and San Diego State University before advancing his teaching methods under the direction of noted instructors Cliff Moore and Jim McLean. Prior to joining Eagle Glen, Mark served as director of instruction at La Costa Resort & Spa and director of instruction at CrossCreek Golf Course. He also works with high school golf teams and college players.
Mel Blasberg, Instructor
A golfer for more than 40 years, Mel began his professional teaching career in 1990 under the mentorship of Derek Hardy, one of Golf Digest‘s “Top 50 Teachers” in the US. Prior to joining Eagle Glen, Mel owned and operated a golf practice and teaching center in Corona, CA. He is the father and coach to Erica Blasberg, the 2002 NCAA Freshman of the Year, 2002 Pac-10 Player of the Year, AJGA-Polo All-American, Futures Tour member (2004) and LPGA Tour player (since 2005). Mel coached the undefeated 2001-02 Corona High School golf team and continues to be one of the most sought-after coaches for junior golfers with AJGA and college golf aspirations. In addition to teaching at Eagle Glen, Mel has been a golf analyst on the Jim Daniels Show on Fox Sports Radio.
